No doubt you are already working hard on building your list of prospects because you have heard that well worn dictum “The money is in the list” Well, it’s not strictly true. The money is actually in the relationship that you have with your list. And the quickest and most effective way of creating a warm and friendly relationship with your list is to do a product launch. This will position you as the thought leader in your micro niche and therefore attract prospects to you almost on auto-pilot

 

Making a sale to build a list rather than building a list to make a sale has two powerful benefits

 

#1. Your prospects will be a part of your pre-launch sequence and therefore will get to know, like and trust you in the process.

#2. Some will convert into buyers and a buyers list is worth 15 times more than your common or garden house list of prospects

 

That’s all very well” I hear you say but “if you were starting from scratch and wanted to build a list in a hurry on a limited budget, how would you do it?

If all your friends have bigger lists, then agree to mail several times to his once so that the proportion works out the same.

If you can find a list of people who have already bought on line, obviously that’s ideal. There are lists there one million strong but before you go large test by buying the minimum that the owner will sell to make sure that the list will convert for you.

 

To make your list building efforts pay their way, make sure that you keep sending regular mails to your new prospects giving real value and just occasionally make an offer to them. It doesn’t have to be your product, you can be an affiliate. Just remember to put a note at the bottom of your mails saying that you will make money if they buy

 

Do all this whilst your preparing your new product launch. This is when your list will start to grow in leaps and bounds
