Product Launch Killer Solution

Let’s face it, we wall want to make a few bucks. There are lots of marketers out there wanting to sell you their next big opportunity. To do this they may assure you that doing a product launch is history. They may say that this marketing strategy is over. They may say it doesn’t work any more. Well, before you nod your head in agreement, perhaps you should take a deep breath and consider this…

They make money by convincing you that their new shiny object really is the answer to all your prayers. That it will deliver where nothing has delivered for you in the past. So if they have to denigrate the most effective marketing strategy out there, they will. Even if, it is the one that has worked over time whether you are launching a business, an event or a digital product… Online, offline or on a mobile platform.

They want to sell you their new tool. Be it automated webinar software or any other so-called killer solution. What they fail to tell you is that all the most expensive and effective tools in the world are useless if they are not used as part of an end-to-end marketing strategy.

They say that doing a product launch…

Bad Reason #1 – They say that a Product launch requires planning – I say, “Wake up and smell the coffee” If you expect to have a successful business anywhere then you will have to think… You will have to develop a strategy. Once you have decided where you want your business to go and why, you have to make a plan. To believe otherwise is naive.

Bad Reason #2 – They say that it takes time – I say, “Those selling you the dream of an internet lifestyle are being less than frank with you. The people making money in 4 hours per week sitting on a Caribbean beach are the exception rather than the rule“. Mere mortals like us have to stay focused, work hard, persist and stay the course. That takes time.

Bad Reason #3 – They say that they are too political – I say “If you are ready to do a big external product launch, then you need partners to promote for you. That’s not politics. It’s that age old adage “You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” You cannot expect someone to promote your offer to their list if you are not prepared to do the same for them too – BTW – There are other ways of boosting your revenue than signing up JVs but they are only for my clients.

Yesterday, I showed you how Burberry are using product launch marketing techniques to live-stream a fashion show in 3D around the world, to allow customers to order products straight from the catwalk.

And no doubt you’ve stood in amazement at the success Apple achieve using these very same product launch strategies to launch one new product after another and have crowds of people queuing round the block to buy them

There is no question that Product launches work and that they work in just about any niche you can think of. And that is the one good reason that you should integrate them into your marketing. They are a trackable, conversion based system designed to create more predictable streams of income in your business. Given the benefits, it’s no wonder that Apple and Burberry are using them to continually take their businesses to the next level.

Doing a Product launch is an excellent method to get new buyers in a predictable systematic way. When you have perfected the system for one product you have a range of options…

* Buy PPC traffic to drive at your squeeze pages knowing exactly how much you can afford to pay per lead…

* Invite affiliates and JVs to promote your offer to their lists and have an easy job convincing them that they should because you can prove they will make money and not burn their lists…

* And Cross promote other relevant offers to your customers knowing that they will be pleased to buy from you again and again

All these and more should be part of your product launch marketing strategy. If you want to find out more about how you can do a product launch and you have a product, new or existing, ready to go. Then book a time to chat with me on Skype. . It won’t cost you a dime…
